  Introduction  
  One of the fundamental activities for maintaining a management system is internal auditing as it assesses compliance with specified requirements and accepted practices. Internal auditing performed correctly not only provides the opportunity to confirm compliance, but also for continual improvement.  
  Learning Objectives  
As a result of these courses delegates will be capable of:
  • confirming the the adequacy of a Management System (MS)

The Chartered Quality Institute approach to internal auditing is there is one course at the Practitioner level to understand, be competent and qualified in conducting Internal Audits then this course is required CQI/IRCA Certified Internal Auditor Practitioner Course. ISO 9001 Quality QMS Course

CQI and IRCA Certified QMS Auditor courses will equip you to assess the conformance and performance of an organisations' quality management systems.

This course teaches you the process approach, the eight quality management principles and the requirements of ISO 9001.

 

Who is it for?

This course is for those requiring an introduction to the ISO 9001 family of standards, especially those involved in the design, implementation and management of a quality management system (QMS). Successful completion of this course is a requirement for certification as an Internal Auditor on IRCA's QMS Scheme.

On successful completion of this course, delegates will have the knowledge needed to:

  • Explain the purpose of a quality management system, of quality management systems standards, and the business benefits of improved performance of the quality management system

  • Outline the structure and content of ISO 9001 and its relationship with ISO 9000

  • Explain the specific quality management related requirements of ISO 9001

Internal Auditor Course 

Practitioner Level - PT 236
 

Course duration: 14 hours

Assessment: Assignments and Project Report

Recommended prior knowledge: FD116 QMS Audit Foundation Course, or other standards

This course teaches you how to plan an audit, how to audit a process and how to report an audit.

The aim of this course is to provide you with the knowledge and skills required to perform an internal audit of part of a quality management system based on ISO 9001 (or equivalent), and report on the effective implementation and maintenance of the management system in accordance with ISO 19011.

On successful completion of this ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor (QMS) course you will satisfy part of the training requirements for initial certification as an IRCA Certificated QMS Internal Auditor. In addition to this course, you must also complete a CQI and IRCA Certified ISO 9001:2015 Foundation (QMS) Training course (or equivalent) to meet the full training requirements for initial certification as an IRCA QMS Internal Auditor.

 

Who is it for?

This course is for those who audit an organisation's processes as part of the internal audit programme. Successful completion of this course is a requirement for certification as an Internal Auditor on IRCA's QMS Scheme.
